Obama’s SOTU: Translated

This is the Wilderness of Mirrors translation of President Obama’s State of the Union address.

Shut up and sit down, you are too stupid to understand what is good for you. Bush was a terrible president, he did terrible thing to you and to America, I and I alone have the strength and courage to fix the damage that Bush has done.

You want my heath care program, you’re just to stupid to know it. The Republican Party has no idea’s and is doing nothing about the problems Bush left behind for me to clean up. They must do my bidding or I will hold them personally responsible for every thing that goes wrong in the future.

My own Democrat Party is acting like cowards and they need to stand up for my programs or suffer my terrible wrath. The Supreme Court of the United States is stupid, so I will now ridicule them in public for that stupidity.

We must become energy independent, we must drill for oil offshore, build nuclear power plants and invest in clean coal and alternative energy sources. Pay no attention to the mere fact that I have made it impossible to drill for oil in Alaska’s Bering Straits, which has been proven to have more oil than Saudi Arabia, forget that I have enabled environmental activists to prevent any nuclear power plants from ever being built or that I have promised to make clean coal plants to expensive for any company to build.

I have enacted a spending freeze on government spending, but only after I raised that spending over 30 percent, I only froze it so those damn Republicans couldn’t reduce it after they back the House and Senate in November.

I am not going to stop my Marxist coup of the American Government, I will not retreat on destroying our economy with Cap and Trade just because Anthropic Global Warming has been proven to be a fraud, and you are stupid if you accept the facts on global warming.

In summery, you peons are a bunch of easily deceived and manipulated imbeciles and I intend to do exactly what I want and to hell with you and your opinions, you elections mean nothing I am in control, now sit down and shut the fuck up and do as I tell you to do.

The Gathering Storm of 2010

As others look back on the year past, what defined 2009. Who was noble and who played the fool ( See the Blogmocracy’s The Fiskie’s No?) I am looking forward to what 2010 may bring.

On the horizon are clouds, clouds that may bring one of the biggest political storms in American history, or they might simply fade away. Assuming that they do not simply fade away brings us to focusing on November of 2010.

November of 2010 may well see the first true rumblings of a storm whose political impact will be felt for decades. The American public is angry, angry with a congress that has intentionally chosen to disregard what their constitutes have to say to them.

They are angry with a President who is clearly out of touch with their values and concerns for the future. As yet, their anger is unfocused, but the direction is clear. Politicians, professional lifelong politicians to be specific.

American Politicians from the office of the President of the United States all the way down to the local city alderman are feeling the heat of that anger. That anger weill find a focal point in November of 2010.

Who will survive the political bloodbath the November appears certain to bring is the big question. The pendulum seems to be swinging towards the GOP, but I wouldn’t bet on it.

My bet is on conservatives of both Democrat and Republican stripes. But don’t count the Independents out, I suspect they will be the true winners in this storm.

The Independents are the least focused of the electorate, but number nearly an equal amount to the other parties making them nearly a viable third party on their collective own, save for their nearly complete lack of organization.

Enter the T.E.A Parties, conservatives of both the Republican and Democrat parties totally fed up with the leadership of their respective parties and ready to toss more into the Boston harbor than just tea.

The T.E.A parties are a unique group of individual where past party affiliation means very little, it is where Independents, Democrats and Republicans all come together for a common cause.

Their cause, like those who held the first tea party, the Boston Tea Party, is representation, or more accurately the lack thereof. So far they have been peaceful and respectful protests and what happens in November of 2010 will undoubtedly determine whether they remain that way.

While they have been peaceful and respectful protests they have suffered terrible injustices at the hands of a Fifth column Media which has ceased to be an advocate for the people and become a high priesthood of Marxist propaganda.

Combined with a professional political class which has anointed itself as aristocrats of the new American Oligarchy the Fifth column Media stand to be the big losers in November 2010.

There is no question that American politics has become a bare knuckle barroom brawl. The Fifth column Media’s treatment of former Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin has no equal in its vile and dishonest nature.

November 2010 will be when we see if the lightning strikes the ground or the thunder fades off into the distance. We could well see the single largest shift in American politics in the last hundred years, or we could see a weary population slip back into the somnolence the new aristocrats of the American Oligarchy prefer them to be in.

Regardless of whether the general population slips back into that sleepy state of complacency or not, one thing is certain, the Fifth column Media will continue to see it’s pedestal shrink and it’s prestige diminish. Americans by and large just don’t trust the Fifth column Media anymore.
