The push to draft Trey Gowdy as Speaker of the House.

Conservatives within the Republican Party have long been extremely disappointed with current Speaker of the House John Boehner, in fact one could accurately say, they have always been disappointed with him. From his metro-sexual weeping on the House floor, to his comfortable palling around with President Obama, but it’s his actual actions that have offended the conservatives.

From his preemptive surrender on Obamacare, his ardent steadfast insistence on pushing amnesty for illegal aliens to his vicious and ruthless attacks on Tea Party Conservative which even went so far as to purge them from all committee leadership positions. John Boehner has defined himself not as a conservative or even a moderate Republican, but a Democrat wearing Republican clothing.

The majority of the Republican base is not middle of the road moderate, they are in fact conservatives. John Boehner and the Republican Establishment Leadership have abused, deceived and manipulated the Republican base to an unforgivable extent. They pander to the Conservative base while campaigning for office, and once safely in Congress proceed to ignore the wishes of their constitutes.

This is not the first time we have heard rumors of a movement to remove John Boehner from his position as Speaker of the House. These rumbling have been around pretty much since John Boehner was first elected to that position. Each time previously those rumors have quietly disappeared when time came for the rubber to meat the road.

Yet, here we are again, with those same rumors bubbling to the surface. 18 or 20 Conservative Republican Congressmen supposed working quietly in the house to unseat John Boehner. This time around (will it end up being any different?) there is even speculation of drafting Congressman Trey Gowdy as Boehner’s replacement.

Libs’ worst nightmare, Trey Gowdy, next Speaker of the House? Heavyweights weigh in . . .

A serious battle has begun to oust spineless Speaker of the House John Boehner, and big girl panties are not going to help him now.

Jan 6 is the day of reckoning for Boehner and some very powerful people behind the scenes are fed up with him. More vocal in their distaste are superstar conservative radio personalities Mark Levin and Sean Hannity. Hannity came out with his pick for a replacement Tuesday, but he was way behind Twitter users, who had Trey Gowdy bringing the “boom to the room” months ago. Hannity told Breitbart in an email:

“The American people need bold inspiring solutions to reverse the damaging policies of the President and his party. This is not a time for half measures. It’s time for new dynamic leadership in the House of Representatives. Trey Gowdy is my choice for speaker. He has the ability to articulate and implement the changes needed to get the country on the right path. Gowdy has a plan to balance the budget, secure the borders, push for energy independence and replace Obamacare with personal healthcare savings accounts. John Boehner has snubbed and ignored conservatives for too long as evidenced by the recent cromnibus budget deal he made with Obama, Reid and Hoyer. It’s time he step aside for the good of country and the conservative movement.”

Levin didn’t mention a replacement, but offered these comments on Facebook:

“GOP establishment a disastrous mess. Clean them out. Time for new leaders with conservative principles.”

“Boehner needs to go . . .”

One very serious problem seems to be associated with this, Trey Gowdy’s press spokesman has stated unequivalently, that Trey has no interests in being Speaker of the House. To my knowledge, on one has asked Trey Gowdy to his face is he would refuse to serve as Speaker of the House should he be offered that position.

I am no expert on Trey Gowdy, he’s not my congressman, hell, he’s not even in my state. But what I have seen of him, he seems to be a honest and principled individual with the integrity to fulfill any position of leadership for which he is elected. A former District Attorney with a no nonsense attitude that demands honesty, integrity and professionalism in service of the public good.

Is Trey Gowdy as conservative as those seeking to have him replace John Boehner? I honestly do not know. Would he fight the good fight that the Republican base expect, no demand him too? Again, I do not know. Mordor on the Potomac aka Washington DC is excessively lubricated by corrupt individuals pouring billions of dollars into the campaign coffers of anyone who will advance their agenda.

Politics is money and power, power and money. Money is raised by both parties by writing legislation that threatens one interest or another. Usually that legislation lives or dies based upon that amount of money that is raised by those interests either supporting that legislation or opposing it. Yes, you could call this political blackmail, well, if you were crass and foolish enough to speak the truth. Politicians just call it politics as usual.

Would a strongly conservative speaker of the House (perhaps Trey Gowdy) be able to function as Speaker of the House while dismantling this corrupt system, and not destroy the Republican Parties ability to campaign against a Democrat Party which has 100 percent sold it’s soul to the axiom that the end justifies the means? Would any individual, even being a man of principals and integrity, be able to withstand the overwhelming influence of corruption that flows like a tsunami through the corridors of Mordor on the Potomac?

There is no question that Trey Gowdy is a very intelligent individual, his stated desire to not be Speaker of the House may well be the strongest evidence of that intelligence. George Washington did not want to be President of the United States of America, perhaps the only man to ever serve in that office who did not want to be there. Yet, his tenure is widely regarded as the most successful, principled example of political integrity in American Political history.

True, the corruption that Mordor on the Potomac is currently drowning in did not exist to the extent that they do today. Even so, the prima facie evidence would seem to support the notion that a man of principals and integrity that does not wish to serve in a specific capacity is more likely to resist corruption and execute his duties faithfully than an individual whose desire to serve is predicated upon the desire and willingness to use that position of power and influence for his own personal profit.

So yes, let the movement to draft Trey Gowdy to serve as the next Speaker of the House move forward, perhaps the miracle of George Washington will repeat itself and the House of Representatives will find itself with a Speaker who will put the Constitution of the United States of America and the best interests of the United States of America and her people above the financial profits of himself and the other members of Congress.

Hey… what the hell, a guy can at least dream can’t he…

The Continuing Crucifixion of Sarah Palin: It begins anew.

Sarah Palin is the great American political controversy. Loved by her base, the conservative holi poli, hated and despised by the political establishment and the Marxist liberal media. Employed by the blogsphere as both stalking and whipping horse because of the power of her name to drive page hits and therefore revenues. With the 2014 mid-term elections safely behind them and the political landscape turning it’s attention inevitably towards the 2016 Presidential election cycle, the spin mills have already begun the process of drawing and quartering Mrs Palin again.

First the accolades of support touting why she should throw her hat into the ring, followed as surely as night follows day, by the vitriolic hand-wringing concern trolling and outright hatred designed to illuminate why it is self evident that she should sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. The only thing guaranteed, is that many will see Sarah Palin as a sure fire way to increase their viewership, page hit count, and thus revenue.

Sarah Palin 2016: 5 Hurdles Facing GOP Presidential Hopeful

If former Alaska Gov. and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin enters the 2016 presidential election, she will face stiff competition from a wide field of qualified Republican candidates. However, she may face greater challenges from her numerous detractors, especially those in the liberal media whose vitriol towards Palin knows no bounds.

Many believe that Palin is most powerful as a conservative spokesperson who has a remarkable ability to motivate and inspire her base. In fact, she has been confirmed as a speaker at the Iowa Freedom Summit in January 2015. She will be joined by at least nine GOP presidential hopefuls and whether her purpose at the event is to motivate or throw her hat in the election ring is uncertain.

Here are five hurdles Sarah Palin will have to overcome if she decides to run in the 2016 presidential election:

Personally, while, as a admirer of Sarah Palin, I would love to see her throw her hat in the ring and make a genuinely serious run at the Presidency of the United States of America, I also must confess to harboring a certain willfulness to see her perform the political equivalent of an old fashioned strip tease. After the abominable and disgusting treatment she has received at the hands of both the Marxist Mainstream Liberal Media, and the so called Conservative Blogsphere, I believe she has every right to tour then country, dropping every salacious and scandalous hint and suggestion that she is about to declare, and then simply exit stage left without ever declaring yea or nae as to her intentions.

Let those who have sold their souls to the political expediency of “The End Justifies the Means” hyper partisan politics and the politics of personal destruction commence with the head explosions. Whether Establishment RINO supporting pretend conservative or Marxist Democrat, it makes no difference, a pox on both of their houses. Let this be the winter of their discontent, but not one made glorious by this daughter of Alaska, not one of celebration of victories won, but a winter of genuine discontent, wherein are made manifest all of their fears and terrors.

Were I given the opportunity to counsel Sarah Palin, my counsel would be, take the reigns, step boldly into the Gothic horror archetypical role of boogieman, make the mainstream media and the blogsphere pay rent for having you live in their heads, and scare the Freddy Kruger/Jason bejeezus out of each and every one of them.

So… who is surprised that John Boehner betrayed America?

John Boehner has been telling anyone who would listen for the last 4 years that he intendeds to betray the GOP base. Is anyone surprised that he did it?

What’s in the spending bill? We skim it so you don’t have to

The law is still funded, but there’s no new money for it. There’s also no new ACA-related funding for the Internal Revenue Service and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the two agencies most responsible for implementing the law. The bill also would cut the budget of the Independent Payment Advisory Board — what Republicans have called “the death panel” — by $10 million.

John Boenher has been saying pretty much forever that he intended to push Obama’s illegal Immigration amnesty to everyone and anyone who would listen.

Ohio should be nuked from orbit just to be sure. Since they keep returning Boehner to Congress. I am one of those people who cannot understand why Iowa or any other eastern state should decide who the candidates running for POTUS should be.

John Boehner should be tried for treason, convicted and then hung until dead, right behind Barack Obama, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Fuck this bullshit, America is a Constitutional Republic, not a democracy. It is not a Marxist Utopia or a Communist State. Every individual is by law supposed to be held to the exact same legal standard. Boehner employed the exact same disingenuous and deceitful tactics that allowed the widely unpopular Affordable Health Care Act to be foisted upon America.

Let’s call it what it is, rule by Aristocrat. They don’t give a flying Sandra Fluke what the average American thinks, believes or wants. It’s all about how much money and power they can accumulate for themselves.

John Boehner deceived the majority of Congress for the purpose of financial gain and accumulation of personal power. Tragically, while this should be a federal felony that would land an individual in federal “pound you in the ass” prison for the rest of their life, congress has exempted themselves from the laws that the rest of the nation a subject to.

At what point does the nation as a whole wake up and say enough is enough? Yes, America is a divided nation. Divided between those brainwashed by the educational system into believing that America is a Marxist/Socialist nation and those who have read the United States Constitution and actually understand what that Constitution means.

John Boehner and Mitch McConnell couldn’t possible care less what the United States Constitution actually says, their only concern is how much money and power they can gain by exploiting the stupidity and ignorance of the American people. Yes, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell are exactly the same as their Democrat counterparts. They have every intention of lying to, deceiving and whatever else is required to ensure that they get theirs at your expense.

San Fransisco through it’s corrupt and perverse nature inflicted Nancy Pelosi on the nation, and for that San Fransisco deserves whatever vile ill befalls it, likewise for Ohio for inflicting no less of an evil on America as John Boehner…
