For the last couple of days a rumor has been floating around the blogsphere/internet. Supposedly according to this rumor, California Congressman Darrell Issa is launching an investigation into Harry Reid and Barack Obama’s personal involvement in the BLM scandal that recently took place in Gold Butte Nevada at the cattle ranch of Cliven Bundy. According to the rumor, Darrell Issa in an interview with Fox News told Gretchen Carlson that he has launched an investigation to find out what exactly was Obama and Reid’s involvement in the siege of the Bundy Ranch.
The problem is, it is a hoax.
Issa ‘Launches Federal Investigation in BLM Land Grab’ Article Fake
An article saying that California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa is launching a federal investigation into President Barack Obama and Nevada Sen. Harry Reid’s “involvement” in a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) “land grab” is fake and was published on a saitre website.
It was posted on the National Report, a website that only publishes fake news, describing it as “satire.”
The National Report has a disclaimer that says it’s satire, but it has been taken down. An archived page has the original disclaimer in full.
It reads: “DISCLAIMER: National Report is a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within National Report are fiction, and presumably fake news. Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental .”
Unfortunately, unaware that the National Report is a satire publication a lot of people have fallen for this hoax. This issue is made unnecessarily complicated by the fact the the National Report has in fact taken down their original disclaimer informing people that they are a satire site, and not an actual News site. Their current and highly misleading disclaimer reads as follow.

Considering every time Darrell Issa investigates something the result is that absolutely no one is held accountable and the majority of information ends up being classified and locked up where the American public can never see it, it’s no doubt better that Issa does not investigate what is going on in Nevada.
From the Joe Sestak bribery scandal forward, every time Darrell Issa investigates something, it ends up being buried deeper than Barack Obama’s college transcripts.
Fast and Furious? Anyone arrested or in prison yet? nope, though Congress did in fact convict Erick Holder of criminal contempt of Congress, a misdemeanor carrying a 1 year jail sentence, you will take note of the fact that Erick Holder is not in jail and is still at the helm of the Department of Injustice.

Darrell Issa loves to grandstand, but in the end, whatever becomes of his grandstanding? Darrell Issa get’s richer, get’s quiet a lot of face time on television, but other than that? Yea, a big fat nothing. The great Bard, in MacBeth’s finally soliloquy, gave a prescient description of Darrell Issa.

I seek the truth, sometimes it conflicts with my desires, my desires then must give way to the truth. When I first read that story, I hoped that it might be true, so I went digging for conformation, instead I found that it was indeed a hoax. I place very little trust in Darrell Issa, though having him investigate would ultimately result in nothing, it would be one more thorn in the side of the Obamanation Administration.
