One of America’s greatest scientific minds , Benjamin Franklin, once defined insanity as “Doing the same thing over and over expected a different result”. Had Franklin known todays Democrats, there is little doubt that his definition would be much different. Perhaps rather than saying “doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result”, he would have said, “following the advice of the Democrats expecting positive results”.
Trey Gowdy, South Carolina congressional representative, rebuffed the insufferable narcissistic fool Senator Chuck Schumer’s advice to Republicans to quickly pass the Gang of Eight bill in order to survive over the next several years with the following snark laced quip.
Schumer isn’t the only Democrat who has taken to pontificating unsolicited advice to the GOP in recent years. Which in and of itself wouldn’t be a big deal, were it not for the propensity of the GOP Leadership to guzzle the Democrat cyanide laced kool-aid by the gallon. Between attacking the grassroots movement known as the TEA Party, to abdicating their role as the opposition party, the GOP leadership has displayed no appreciable loyalty to it own base. The constant blizzard of suicidal advice from the Democrats has found fertile ground amongst the GOP leadership, even though a few Republican representatives like Trey Gowdy publicly mock those offering it.
Trey Gowdy and Rand Paul’s ridicule aside, the GOP leadership seems hell bent on following that advice to it ultimate destination. The Wicked Witch of the West, aka Nancy Pelosi, continuing in the Democrat master plan of destroying the GOP echoed the advice of Senator Schumer.

Nancy Pelosi misspoke on purpose again this morning. She said the House GOP will support the immigration bill if they ever want to win the White House again, but when we run that statement through the Nancy-matic honesty filter, “ever” is changed to “never.”
Benjamin Franklin would no doubt have declared, “Taking the advice of a political opponent who is attempting to destroy you, over and over again expect a different result each time, is the definition of insanity”. Such insanity grips the GOP leadership in what can only honestly be described as an “Alligators death roll grip”. Between the Speaker of the House John Boehner and Minority Leader of the Senate Mitch McConnell’s vile, slanderous and libelous attacks on the TEA Party and their unceasing an unfailing capacity to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory combined with a child like delight in handing that victory to their political opponents while embracing the defeat they have secured as though it were a life long sought after treasure, leaves little doubt why the Republican base has lost all confidence in the GOP leadership.
John Boehner and Mitch McConnell display all the indications of being either Democrat operatives pretending to be Republicans, or men who have lost any semblance of a hold on reality, having instead slipped into a psychotic break from reality. When tens of millions of members of the Republican base make their positions 100 percent perfectly crystal clear, such as they did on the subject of Obamacare, the GOP leadership repeatedly makes the conscious choice of following the sick and twisted advice of their political opponents.
When raising the spending limit was being debated, Boehner and McConnell rather than accepting and acting on the desires of the Republican base, chose to conspire with their democrat opponents and concocted the sequestration. Over and over and over this pattern of betrayal has played out in the House and the Senate. If it isn’t Boehner and McConnell conspiring to betray the Republican Base then it’s Senator John (whacko bird number Uno) McCain parroting the Democrat desires like a puppet on democrat strings.
Given the propensity of the GOP leadership to grovel at the feet of their Democrat opponents begging for crumbs and favors it is really no wonder at all that the TEA Party came into existence at all, moreover, given that exact same propensity to surrender it is likewise no surprise that the self anointed aristocrat elitists within the GOP Leadership chose to align themselves not with the TEA Party whom they clearly saw as a threat to their Duchies, but with the democrats and the democrats sycophant Fifth Column Treasonous Media.
No, it is then now become apparent that the old definition of insanity, “Doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result” needs to be amended and updated to, “Following the advice of political opponents who are attempting to destroy you expecting success is the definition of insanity”. Furthermore, that the GOP Leadership having worked tirelessly to do exactly that, can only be described as either insane, and thus unworthy of any positions of leadership, or outright traitors to the Republican base.
